While 52 skilled and fortunate poker players have found their way through a combined total of 508 entries in Days 1A and 1B of the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event here at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, those numbers alone could be in play for what is expected to be a massive Day 1C Saturday.

The Event Center will be packed with the final round of hopefuls looking to spin their $1,700 buy-in into a massive six-figure score which comes with a prestigious WSOP Circuit ring and entry into the WSOP Tournament of Champions, the $1,000,000 freeroll this summer in Las Vegas.

Play resumes once more at 11 a.m. local time with those runners looking to not just advance to Day 2 but make a run at Shaun Deeb’s massive 897,000 chip total from Day 1B.

Another number both players and tournament organizers will have a keen eye on is $1,349,865. That was the total prize pool in this event in 2022, and with $769,620 collected so far, that number is certainly in play with Saturday’s expected large turnout.

As for the numbers players will start the day with, those include 30,000 starting chips at blinds of 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. They’ll receive 15-minute breaks at the conclusion of every third level, with a 60-minute dinner break scheduled for the end of level 9 at approximately 5:30 p.m. local time.

Players today will have two final shots at making it to Day 2. Their original buy-in and should they need it, one final re-entry up until the start of level 13 at which point registration will be totally closed and the impressive prize pool and payout details will be announced.

As with the opening two flights, play will continue through 17 40-minute levels or until the field is thinned to ten percent of its starting total as was the case Friday when play was stopped early in level 17.

WSOP.com will continue to bring you all the action direct from the tournament floor until a champion is crowned on Monday, so keep your browsers locked right here for updates throughout the day.
