Robert Lupo, who was the runner-up at the recent WSOP Circuit Main Event at Harrah's Pompano Beach is in the field and trying to build himself another stack.
With about 6,000 in the middle on a flop of , Lupo checked his small blind as did the big blind and the original raiser on the button bet 2,500.
Lupo and the big blind both called, but everyone then checked the board-pairing turn.
The river was the and all three checked once more.
Lupo showed , good for a pair of sevens to go with the fours on board, which was good enough to earn the pot as the big blind flashed the , then tossed it and his other card into the muck.

WSOP bracelet and ring winner Jean "Prince" Gaspard has been a fixture in the opening flights of the Main Event but has yet to advance, and won't again today after falling at the hands of Edward Reid.
Gaspard was seen leaving the tournament area and Reid and his tablemates reconstructed the hand for WSOP.com.
On a flop of , Gaspard moved all in for approximately 9,000 and was called by Reid. Gaspard held for an open-ended straight draw, which also had an overcard to Reid's .
The turn and river were both blanks and Gaspard's final attempt at advancement ended.

Picking action up on a turn board of , Brandon Lulov checked in the big blind to Brian Czop, who bet 2,500 from middle position. Lulov check-raised to 8,000 and Czop called.
The river brought a fourth diamond in the and after a moment of thought, Lulov bet 2,100. Czop thought briefly then slid out a stack of T-5,000 chips, well covering Lulov's 38,000 chip stack.
Lulov quickly folded and the pot was pushed to Czop, who has joined the early big stacks in the room.

Following an all-in open for 23,300 under the gun, the button moved in as well for slightly less and Dennis Durante checked his cards. He held them up to his face and squeezed them tightly. First he saw the , which was a good start, that was slowly followed by red paint which turned out to be the . Durante called with both opponents covered.

With about 6,500 in the middle on a four-way flop of , players in the big blind and early position checked to a player in middle position who bet 6,000.
Pal Zagreda called the bet in the hijack, but then the big blind moved all in for approximately 50,000, covering each potential opponent.
The early position player folded, but the middle position player called for about 15,000 and Zagreda the happily called as well for about 25,000, with two piles of chips about to come his way as he turned over for quad fours.
The small blind showed for two pair, fives and fours, and the middle position player showed for a better two pair.
Neither player could hit their own running quads as the board completed and the huge pot was shipped to Zagreda.
