Following an under the gun raise to 2,000, three players called including Harold Kruger to the immediate left of the original raiser.

The flop came     and both blinds checked, as did the original raiser. Kruger bet 3,000 with only the big blind calling.

The players checked the   turn and the   river, and Kruger showed    for a flopped pair of fives with a gutshot, but the fives were all he'd need as his opponent mucked his hand to send the pot to Kruger.

After Shaun Deeb raised in the cutoff and was called by Tom Frank on the button and the big blind, Deeb continued for 2,000 on the     and only Frank called.

The players then checked the   turn and   river with Frank showing down   for a winning pair of threes as Deeb mucked his hand.

As the day progresses, preflop conflict are growing in size and importance.

Case in point, after a raise to 1,600 in early position by Nicholas Lein, Daniel McCormick three-bet to 7,500 from the cutoff.

Lein came back with a four-bet all in for 43,500.

McCormick thought for a bit and then slid his cards back to the dealer as the pot was shipped to Lein.

Picking action up on a monotone flop of    , Chris Buschi checked from the small blind to Patrick White in late position who bet 1,500.

Buschi made the call to see the   on the turn and checked again. This time White bet 2,000 and Buschi now check-raised to 5,000, leaving himself 6,400 behind.

White called, and on the   river, Buschi moved all in. White paused for a moment then made the call.

Buschi showed    for the nut flush, while White showed him    for a losing jack-high flush.

Picking action up on a five-way flop of    , Shaun Deeb bet 2,000 from under the gun with only Timothy Russ in the cutoff and the button calling.

On the   turn, Deeb fired again, this time for 5,000. Only Russ called to see a river.

The river brought the   and Deeb now checked. Russ checked back and the hands were revealed.

Deeb showed    for top pair, but Russ showed    for top pair with a better kicker to take a piece of Deeb's healthy stack.

Cards were on their backs in a cooler situation that saw Eric Siegel on the wrong end of it versus Daniel McCormick with McCormick at risk for about 30,000.

While the Main Event is going on, the $200 Ladies Event is also underway in the Turning Stone Event Center.

Registration remains open for another couple of levels, but the 262 entries already has made it the largest Ladies event in WSOP Circuit history, surpassing the old record of 223 from January 2020 at WSOP-C Choctaw.

While a lively discussion about health care, magic pills, and some jokes about not so healthy alternatives was going on, a four-way pot broke out that was checked to the river on a board of      .

The blinds checked and with about 6,000 in the pot, James Namiot, who was spearheading the conversation casually tossed out a bet of 7,000, which got folds from his opponents.

Ryan Slowik who is at the table told the WSOP reporting team that while it hasn't been a great table to accumulate chips at, it's likely the most entertaining one in the room.

With a bit under 9,000 in the pot on a completed board of       Dean Coirin was in late position facing a bet of 4,700 from his opponent in middle position.

Coirin made the call and his opponent showed    for ace-high. Coirin showed    for a flopped set of tens which earned him the pot.

Following an early position raise to 800 and a call by Ioannis Pentefountas in middle position, Stewart Marin three-bet to 2,100. Both opponents called to see a flop of    .

Action was checked to marin who bet 4,500. Only Pentefountas called to see the   turn.

Pentefountas checked again and Marin now bet 10,000. Pentefountas check-raised all in, covering Marin's roughly 16,000 behind, and after some though marin opted to fold, sending the healthy pot to Pentefountas.
