Day 2 of the Horseshoe Tunica $1,700 Main Event saw 63 players come into the day with their hopes of making it to the final table of and after 12 hours of play, just five players were able to do so.
Leading the way is none other than three-time ring winner Carl Masters who ended the night with 7,185,000.
Masters was able to take the chip lead in the last hand of the evening after he rivered quad aces to eliminate Satar Sadoun & Levi Carden.
Michael Monaghan held the chip lead for majority of the later levels and was able to bag 5,775,000, good for the second largest stack as he was the only other player to bag north of 5 milly.

Masters rivered quads to score a double elimination to end the night meaning, five players will be returning tomorrow for the final day and each of them has secured $45,355 but all eyes will be on the $183,653 first-place prize that the eventual champion will be taking home, along with a shiny new ring.
Day 3 will resume Monday, January 30th, with a local start time of 12:00 p.m.
Action will resume at level 26 with 46:24 remining where blinds will be 30,000/60,000/60,000.
Each level will be 60-minutes long and players will receive a 15-minute break after every two levels.

Carl Masters raised to 125,000 from middle position and was called by Satar Sadoun from the cutoff, along with Levi Carden from the big blind.
The flop was checked to Masters who continued for 175,000. Both Sadoun and Carden called, bringing the turn.
This time, Carden led out for 300,000 and Masters quickly called before Sadoun raised all in for 1,290,000. Carden quickly called off his 1,2540,000 and action was on Masters who took a moment before deciding to call.

The turn was the money card, as each player hit with Sadoun and Carden holding the best of it with Broadway while Masters held a top set of aces.

Satar Sadoun limped-in from the cutoff only to have Preston McEwen raise to 200,000 from the button and Trey Bartlett three-bet jam for 410,000 from the small blind.
Sadoun quickly mucked his hand while McEwen called, and the two players tabled their hands.

Bartlett was ahead with his made hand of tens but had a sweat after the flop gave McEwen the diamond flush draw.
Unfortunately for Bartlett, his sweat didn't last long, as the dealer peeled the on the turn, giving McEwen the nuts.
The board completed with the meaningless on the river and Bartlett made his exit in eighth place for $20,635.

Action quickly folded to the small blind where John Gallaher limped-in and Levi Carden checked his option bringing the flop.
Gallaher led out for 50,000 and Carden called to see the turn.

Carden rolled over for top pair and it was good as Gallher mucked his hand.
