Day 2 of the Harrah's Cherokee $1,700 Main Event saw 151 players come into the day with their hopes of finding a Day 3 birth and after 12 hours of play, just 13 players reached that goal.
Leading the charge is three-time ring winner Brad Albrinck who bagged 6,760,000 at the end of the night, edging out WSOP bracelet winner Howard Mash who finished in second with 5,380,000.
Shea Quintin ended the night as the only other player to bag north of 5 million (5,140,000), which is good for third in chips as he looks to add his first Circuit ring to his resume.
Ring winner Tyler Phillips, who was chip leader for majority of the later levels, hit a few bumps at the end of the night and finished the evening fourth in chips with 4,375,000.
Rounding out the top five stacks is Brad Wilson who won a few all-in at the end of the evening to take a 3,945,000 stack into Day 3.
Charlie He was the final elimination of the night departing in 14th place meaning 13 players will be returning tomorrow for the final day.
Each of them has secured $23,500, but all eyes will be on the $356,963 first-place prize that the eventual champion will be taking home, along with a shiny new Main Event ring.
Day 3 will resume Monday, December 5th with a local start time of noon.
Play will pick up at level 28 where blinds will be 50,000/100,000/100,000. Each level will be 60-minutes long and players will receive a 15-minute break after every two levels.
