Craig Dick was in the cutoff and raised it up to 26,000. Sam Hanson was on the button and thought for about a minute before deciding to call.

The two players went to a flop of     and Dick bet 60,000. Hanson wasted no time and jammed all in for 130,000. Dick snap-called.

Hanson was at risk and ahead with a pair of tens and remained that way after the   hit the turn, giving him a set and a lock on the pot. The river was the insignificant   and Hanson doubled through.

With about 100,000 in the pot on     , Nick Barksdale checked from the big blind.

Tim Faro was under the gun and bet 25,000. Barksdale called and the two players saw the   complete the board on the river. Both players ended up checking and Barksdale announced "ace seven", revealing   . It was no good as Faro rivered a pair of queens with

Action folded to Mark Rathe on the button and he jammed for 19,000. Kasey Mills was in the small blind and thought for a moment before moving all in. The big blind got out of the way and Rathe tabled   , needing some help against Mills'   .

The flop came     and Mills remained ahead with a pair of aces and the best kicker. The   turn and   river changed nothing, sending Rathe home early on Day 2.

12-time WSOP Circuit winner Josh Reichard looks to add more gold to his collection

After two starting flights and 368 entries in the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, just 42 hopefuls remain coming into Day 2 at 12:00 p.m. local time.

Leading the field by a large margin is Joe Hindman with 808,000 chips, followed by Abraham Lopez (570,000), Craig Dick (539,000), Mike Vanier (518,000) and Chander Jain (461,000) to round out the top five chip counts. All of the players in the top five managed to bag from the same flight on Day 1b on Saturday night.

Familiar faces still in the mix include Tim Faro, Josh Reichard (pictured), Terry Williams, Greg Jennings, Taylor Howard, Bernie Wen, Ryan Phan and Kasey Mills. Reichard is tied for second on the all-time Circuit winners' list and looks to win his 13th gold ring.

Play begins at the start of Level 17: 4,000/8,000 with a big blind ante of 8,000 and the day will conclude after 10 levels of play. Blinds will now increase from 40 minutes to 60 minutes in length.

The Day 2 prize pool has been calculated by tournament staff. The 42 players that advanced will receive a min-cash worth $3,158, but all eyes are on the $120,445, custom gold ring and seat into the Tournament of Champions up top for the winner.
