Eric Rivkin has taken down Event #17: $400 No-Limit Hold’em for $28,146, his third gold World Series of Poker Circuit ring and a seat into the Tournament of Champions in 2023. “It obviously feels real good. Any win is nothing to sneeze at, especially in a field this big. Any win is good by me,” said Rivkin.

Rivkin has been playing poker for over 20 years and sees himself playing poker for a very long time yet. As far as specific goals, Rivkin will keep on firing WSOP events. “A bracelet would be cool.”

In an era where there are lots of training sites and players studying the game, Rivkin’s approach is to just talk hands with other players. “Talking hands with good players, and studying other players’ tendencies really.”
