Event #8: $400 No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack wrapped up after three days of play and business owner Eric Snyder is the winner. The recreational player living in North Carolina pocketed $113,839 for his biggest score and first gold World Series of Poker Circuit ring. “It feels awesome,” smiled Snyder.
The business owner has been playing poker recreationally for 24 years and credits his success to repetition. “Just play. I just keep on playing.” When talking about how he got into poker he laughed and said, “The money was a lot easier than pool.”
Snyder has no immediate plans for the money he just won, but does plan to head to Las Vegas in July 2023 to play in the Tournament of Champions for a shot at the $1 million prize pool.
Results will be fully updated over the weekend.
