Cherokee, NC (February 28, 2022) - Mark Davis has just won the $1,700 Main Event at the World Series of Poker Circuit at the Cherokee Harrah's Casino. After three days of play, the Birmingham native emerged victorious to earn his first WSOP gold ring, coupled with $334,678.

Ney check-raised to 3,500,000 after Davis continued for 800,000 and Davis called bringing the   turn. 

Both players checked and the   double-paired the board on the river. 

With three spades on a double-paired board, Ney led out for 3,000,000 and Davis paused before calling. 

Ney quickly revealed    for jacks full and Davis quickly mucked his hand.

Davis was looking for his pocket-pair to hold to become Cherokee Main Event Champion, but the   in the window wanted the heads-up match to continue.

Once the     flop hit the felt, Ney continued for 2,500,000 and Davis called bringing the   turn.
