Day 3 of the Cherokee Main Event has come to a close after 9 hours of play. A day that began with 17 players ended with one champion. 

 

Emerging as that champion was Jared Ingles who won the grand prize of $300,736 and his first WSOP Circuit Ring after he defeated a field of 1,213 that generated a prizepool of $1,837,695. Ingles, from the small town of Prospect, Louisiana, had amassed over $1 million in career earnings before this tournament, including nearly $600,000 in WSOP cashes. This win is the largest score of his career as his largest career cash prior to this was for $138,285 for a 56th place finish in the 2010 WSOP Main Event.

After losing a big flip on the river, Changlong Zeng got his remaining chips in the middle a few hands later and Jared Ingles called.

Zeng was behind holding live cards and connected with the     flop, but so did Ingles. 

The   turn gave Zeng some more outs with a gut shot straight draw, but the   completed the board on the river and ended his Main Event in second place for $185,859.

Changlong Zeng limped the small blind. Robert Hover moved all in from the big blind for 6,050,000. Zeng went into the tank and after about two minutes he spiked a stack of chips loudly on the table for the call.

A series of preflop raises saw Ma Le get his 3,350,000 stack into the middle from the big blind and Bob Hover called holding to much more from under the gun.

Le was behind needing help and didn't mind the     flop that gave him the diamond flush draw. 

The   turn was pretty sight for Le as it completed his flush, but the victory didn't last long, as the   fell on the river putting three kings on the board, giving Hover a full house and ending Le's Main Event.

The     flop saw Zeng check-all the 300,000 continuation bet from Le, and then Zeng did the same for 600,000 after the   fell on the turn. 

After the   completed the board on the river, Zeng check-called a 2,000,000 bet from Le only to muck his hand after Le tabled    for a set of deuces.

Once Le checked his option, Zeng quickly announced "all-in". Le thought for a few moments and then mucked his hand. 

"Show the bluff," was said to Zeng and he replied, "throw mw one of those green chips and I'll show you."
