Giuseppe Galluzzo raised to 350,000 on the button and Joe Rice defended his big blind. The flop came     and Rice check-called a bet of 200,000 from Galluzzo.

The turn was the   and both players checked through to the  . They both checked again and Galluzo announced he had sevens. They were no good as Rice tabled    for aces up.

Joe Rice opened the button to 350,000 and both Giuseppe Galluzzo and Bob Hover called.

The dealer spread a flop of     and Hover checked to Rice as he continued for 375,000. Galluzzo mucked quickly and Hover jammed for roughly 2,400,000. Rice lowered his head as he tossed his hand into the muck.

After Giuseppe Galluzzo three-bet Joe Rice the previous hand and took it down preflop, Rice raised again. This time to 360,000 and Galluzzo three-bet to 880,000. Rice made the call.

Both players proceeded to check it down on the       board. Rice announced ace-high before Galluzzo tabled    and took down the pot.

John Amoia raised to 425,000 from the cutoff and Joe Rice asked how much he had behind before announcing he was all in. Amoia counted his stack out but didn't take long to call.

Amoia was at risk with    but needed some help against Rice's   .

The dealer fanned a flop of     and both players paired their ace with Amoia picking up some outs to make a wheel. The turn was the   and the river the  , sending Amoia to the payout desk.

The dealer fanned a flop of     and both players quickly checked.

The   hit the turn and Rice check-called a bet of 300,000.

When the   landed on the river, Rice checked and Galluzzo fired in 800,000. Rice took a few seconds and tossed his cards back to the dealer.

Joe Rice raised the small blind to 285,000 and John Amoia defended the big blind.

The flop came     and Rice continued for 200,000 before Amoia raised to 400,000. Rice called.

The   hit the turn and both players checked to the   river.

Rice led out for 300,000 and after some thought, Amoia called. Rice tabled    as he announced top two and that was good to award him the pot.

The flop came     and the two big stacks checked to the   on the turn. Galluzzo checked, Rice bet 200,000 and Galluzzo called.

Joe Rice raised to 250,000 under the gun and John Amoia called on the button before Giuseppe Galluzzo came along from the small blind.

The dealer spread a flop of     and Galluzzo checked to Rice as he continued for 250,000. Amoia put in a raise to 720,000 and Galluzzo snap folded. Rice thought about it for a couple of seconds before flashing a seven and giving up the hand.

Joe Rice raised to 250,000 from the cutoff and got calls from Giuseppe Galluzzo from the small blind and Bob Hover in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of     and all three players checked to see the   on the turn. Action checked to Rice who bet 250,000 and only Galluzzo called.

The river was the   and both players checked. Galluzzo tabled    for aces up and Rice mucked.

Patrick Bowe jammed the button for roughly 1,000,000 and John Amoia instantly ripped his stack of about 1,500,000 across the line.

The flop of     gave Amoia two pair but Bowe had flopped a gutshot straight draw and a flush draw. The   turn and   river were bricks though sending Bowe home in 5th Place.

Two hands later, Joe Rice opened to 225,000 on the button and Jared Woodell moved all in for about 800,000 in the small blind. Rice called and immediately tabled   . Woodell showed    and needed some heat to stay alive in this Main Event.

"Come on, one time let me get lucky!" yelled Woodell.

The board ran out       and Woodell was sent to the payout desk.

Matthew Eng moved all in for 620,000 from the cutoff and action folded to Joe Rice in the big blind.

"I've got a pair I gotta call," said Rice, tabling   . Eng was flipping with    but the flop came     and Rice made a set of fives. Eng had backdoor flush and straight draws as well as some outs to chop, but the   on the turn sealed the deal before the insignificant   hit the river.

James Namiot shoved in early position for roughly 500,000 and the action folded to Giuseppe Galluzzo in the small blind, who announced all-in as well forcing the big blind out.

It was a flip as the flop came     and Namiot's nines were still in the lead. The   turn gave Galluzzo a flush draw and the   river paired Galluzzo, sending Namiot out in 8th Place.

John Amoia opened to 325,000 from the hijack and Bob Hover asked to see his stack before three-betting to 1,060,000. 

The two players exchanged some friendly banter and eventually Amoia folded.

"There's no buddies at the poker table," laughed Joe Rice.

Matthew Eng limped the small blind and Giuseppe Galluzzo checked his option.

The flop came     and Eng fired out 150,000 before Galluzzo made the call.

The   fell on the turn and Eng continued for 275,000. Galluzzo called.

The   completed the board and Eng now checked it over to Galluzzo who immediately announced all-in. Eng had 925,000 remaining and proceeded to tank for a little over two minutes before mucking his hand.
