Blake Whittington

The final day action is slated to kick off at Noon and just eight players will be returning to take a shot at that $151,789 first place prize. An eventual winner will also be pulling in an automatic ticket to the 2019 Global Casino Championship and of course a shiny new gold WSOP circuit ring.

Jesse Jones will be leading into the final day of the tournament with 5,260,000 in chips and a wide margin between him and any other player. If Jones finishes in the top two he will over double his WSOP lifetime earnings of $75,109 in just one tournament and his is surely looking in a prime position to do so with the chip lead he is bringing into Day 3.

The closest person behind Jones is Blake Whittington with 1,710,000 in chips, who is the most experienced player left and has been running well all week. Earlier this week he picked up his fourth ring right here in Tunica and might be adding a fifth by tournaments end.

A look at the final table seats and counts:

Seat 1 - Roger Foley - 1,450,000
Seat 2 - Jesse Jones - 5,260,000
Seat 3 - Tim Burt - 835,000
Seat 4 - Taylor Deane - 910,000
Seat 5 - Blake Whittington - 1,710,000
Seat 6 - Michael Rossitto - 1,405,000
Seat 7 - Asaf Shushan - 975,000
Seat 8 - Schuyler Thornton - 1,440,000

The day will begin on level 27 and the blinds will be at 25,000/50,000 with a 5,000 ante. The blind levels will be 60-minutes in length and will not end until an eventual champion has been crowned.
