2019 Harrah's Atlantic City Main Event Champion Ryan Eriquezzo 

March 18, 2019 (Harrah's Atlantic City) - The latest winner in the World Series of Poker Circuit is Ryan Eriquezzo (pictured), who has taken down the Harrah's Atlantic City Main Event for $124,397! This first place finish adds ring number four to Eriquezzo's resume, and also brings his life time WSOP career earnings to just under a million. He will also be automatically given a 2019 Global Casino Championship to go along with his six figure cash.

There was a total of 357 entry slips sold for the $1,700 main event, with just nine of those slips making it to the final day. Eriquezzo sat down on Day 3 in the middle of the pack, hovering around that position until the table dropped down to the final six, where his short-handed game started to shine. Ryan Eriquezzo opens to 240,000 from the button, Denis Gnidash calls and the flop comes down    . Gnidash checks to Eriquezzo who continues for 160,000 and Gnidash moves all in for 1,970,000.

Eriquezzo snap-calls, tabling    for the nut straight, Gnidash looks of disgust as he turns over    for top pair. The   falls on the turn and Gnidash is now drawing dead to the   on the river.

Denis Gnidash is eliminated in second place, pocketing a respectable $76,904 for his efforts.

Players see a flop of     that is checked through to the   turn. Eriquezzo fires 250,000 and Gnidash calls.

The   fills up the river. Eriquezzo fires again and Gnidash folds.

Ryan Eriquezzo opens to 260,000 from the button, Denis Gnidash calls and the flop comes down    . Action checks to Eriquezzo, he bets 200,000 and Gnidash check-calls.

A   peels off on the turn and both players check to the   on the river. Gnidash reaches for chips, pushing in 520,000 and Eriquezzo hits the tank. After a moment of thought Eriquezzo announces all in, Gnidash snap-folds and Eriquezzo pulls in the pot.

Ryan Eriquezzo moves all in from the small blind, Kurt Lichtman thinks for several moments, ultimately he calls for his remaining stack of 2,060,000 and players turn over their hands.

Richard Hanheide Eliminated in Fourth Place

Kurt Lichtman opens to 170,000 from the button, Richard Hanheide defends his big blind and the dealer flips over     on the flop.

Hanheide moves all in for around 780,000 and before he can even finish pushing his chips in the middle Lichtman calls, tabling    for a flopped set of cowboys.

Hanheide shows    for a flopped straight and is ahead. A   falls on the turn, changing nothing as Lichtman needs to hit to take down the pot. 

The river comes down a  , giving Lichtman a full house and the pot, eliminating Hanheide from the tournament in fourth place for a respectable $41,613.
