The marquee event at the World Series of Poker Circuit stop at Bicycle Casino makes way today. Event #10: $1,7000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event is set to kick off at 12:00 p.m. with Flight A. The second, and final staring leg, Flight B, will run tomorrow, starting at the same time.
Players will be getting 30,000 in chips to start and playing through 40-minute levels. Day 1A is scheduled to complete 15 levels before bagging for the night. Late registration remains open till the start of Level 13, approximately 9:30 p.m.
The Main Event allows players to play in both flights. Eliminated
players are allowed one re-entry per flight. Once a player bags chips in
Flight A, they are not allowed to play in Flight B, unless they opt to
forfeit their chip stack at the end of the initial flight.
As is always the case, the winner of the Main Event, along with the Casino Champion, will receive a free seat into the 2019 Global Casino Championship for a shot at a coveted gold WSOP bracelet.
Here are bullet-point details of the Bike Main Event:
- Buy-in: $1,700
- Players start with 30,000 tournament chips
- Blinds start at 50/100 - Big blind ante at Level 3
- Two separate starting flights
- Registration remains open until the start of Level 13 (~9:30 p.m.)
- Players are allowed one re-entry per flight
- Levels 1-15 are 40-minutes long, Levels 16+ are be 60-minutes long
- There will be a 10-minute break approximately every two hours
- A 60-minute buffet dinner break is scheduled for after Level 9.
- Day 1A and 1B will play through 15 levels
- Day 2 will run Tuesday stating at 12:00 p.m.
- Day 3 will run Wednesday stating at 1:00 p.m.
- Players who cash will receive Casino Championship points
- The winner automatically qualifies for the 2018/19 Global Casino Championship
