Stanislav Angelov, Winner of Event #7
Less than two months ago, Stanislav Angelov
won his first circuit ring after defeating 739 players in Event #7, the $250
No-Limit Hold’em, at the Harrah’s Cherokee WSOP Circuit stop. Today, he just
claimed his second Circuit ring after topping 311 competitors in Event #7, the
$400 No-Limit Hold’em 8 Max at the Horseshoe Tunica Stop.
‘’I’m just playing good I think, I’m having a
good run too. I’m really grateful.’’
Angelov owns a limousine company and recently
started following the Circuit. He is trying to become a full-time professional
poker player, and it’s definitely looking good for him as he just pocketed $25,145
for his win, his second five-figure score within two months.
‘’I’m trying to become a full-time poker
player. We will see how it goes. I’ve always been a good tournament player. I
used to be successful online. I just don’t play online anymore because it’s not
regulated very well. But I’m loving the series, I like the people too. As long as
I’m successful, I’m going to keep doing it.’’
