Day 3 Chip Leader Jeremy Joseph
The third and final day of the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Thunder Valley is here! The remaining players will fight it out for the cool $193,439 first place prize, a WSOP ring, and a seat to the Global Casino Championship. This event exceeded all expectations of surpassing the $500,000 guarantee, hitting an immense $921,920 total prize pool. The 17 remaining players are all looking to get the biggest piece possible with plenty of excitement sure to come from this final day.
Jeremy Joseph is the chip leader with 2,595,000 to start Day 3. Following close behind is Paul Chai, coming in with 2,450,000 to begin the final day. Some other big stacks to round out the top five include Tony Bracy (2,045,000), Paul Camby (1,505,000), and the latest person to win a Main Event at Thunder Valley, Brett Murray (1,400,000).
Valentin Vornicu is still in contention, having a stack of 795,000 and all the experience to spin it up for a top finish. Vornicu is already one of the most well-known circuit grinders to date, with 12 WSOP rings and over one million in cashes. He will be looking to add another ring to his resume and will be tough competition for anyone trying to stand in his way.
All players remaining will be guaranteed a cash of $9,718 for their efforts. The final table will see those remaining players all securing at least a $17,943 payday, with the eventual champion clinching a staggering $193,439 first-place prize.
The day will begin on level 27 and the blinds will be at 20,000/40,000 with a 5,000 ante. The blind levels will be 60 minutes in length and will not end until an eventual winner is crowned.
