Chris DeMaci scores first WSOP victory with $400 no-limit hold'em double stack victory
Chris DeMaci came into the final table of the $400 no-limit hold'em double stack with the chip lead and went wire-to-wire with it en route to his first Circuit victory. DeMaci amassed almost all of the chips in play when he went heads-up with Aung Thu. Heads-up play only lasted a couple of hands and DeMaci was crowned the winner.
The Southern California native earned $38,215 for his first Circuit victory and the second victory of his live poker career. Before transitioning into live poker, DeMaci was one of the more successful online tournament pros. He owns multiple six-figure runner-up scores that built his seven-figures in WSOP career earnings.
