Keven Stammen

Keven Stammen wasn't satisfied with his 3rd place finish in the 2018 Global Casino Championship earlier this week, so he decided to take down the High Roller! The World Series of Poker bracelet winner is now a two-time Circuit ring winner after pocketing $103,139 in the $2,200 High Roller in the opening series of the 2018/2019 WSOP Circuit season. 

Stammen battled a focused and skilled played in Ben Diebold, with the two players coming in to heads-up play with similar stacks. Stammen kept chipping away and sealed the deal. Diebold took home $63,721 for his efforts, and the second-largest cash of his live tournament career.

The only reason Keven Stammen is here is because he won a free seat into the 2018 Global Casino Championship, in which he came in 3rd place for $122,890. Him and his wife just had a baby boy and he says is extremely grateful to be here "for Sonny." He stayed an extra day and wasn't intending on registering for the High Roller. Now, here he is heads up for another ring.

Ben Diebold raises to 100,000 and Keven Stammen three-bets to 275,000. Diebold calls.
