Loni Harwood

It's a feat no one has accomplished yet - Two-time Global Casino Championship winner. Loni Harwood could be the first to pull it off. Her first win in the event came back in 2015, when the tournament was labeled as the National Championship but retained the same qualifying rules. It was there that Harwood took down her second bracelet and a first place prize of $341,599. On Thursday, August 9th, she'll be in search of her third bracelet and the first place prize of $282,113.

A tough bunch still stands in her way though, including bracelet winners Keven Stammen and Arkadiy Tsinis, each of whom is seeking their second bracelet. And rounding out the competition are Warren Sheaves, Jeremy Meacham, and Armin Stocker, all of whom are hungry for their first bracelet. Meacham sits at the top of the pack after taking down some big pots at the end of Day 2 with a stack of 1,460,000, but Harwood isn't far behind him, sitting in second with 1,427,000. The current short stack is Stocker, from Switzerland, who is sitting with just 409,000 chips, about 25 big blinds, so he'll have a little bit of work to do.

Action is set to begin at 12 p.m. local time, a few hours earlier than this event has started the past few days. This earlier start time is to ensure that the event can be filmed for airing at a later day. Players will begin back in level 20 with just 46 minutes remaining on the clock. Blinds will begin at 8,000/16,000 with an ante of 2,000. Live coverage of this event can be found right here on WSOP.com where you can keep track of all the action. Players are all currently guaranteed Results up to this point can be found in the above results tab
