There is about 20,000 in the pot on the river with a completed board of      . Peter Hengsakul is on the button and heads-up with the player in the hijack.

The hijack checks and Hengsakul bets 19,000.

"How much is that?" immediately asks the hijack.

The hijack asks to see how much Hengsakul has behind and then mulls over his decision for about 45 seconds before calling. Hengsakul shows    and the hijack wins the pot with   .

"You bet 19 [thousand]," said the hijack. "If you bet 20 [thousand], I fold."

Even Hengsakul lets out a laugh at the hijack's joke and the table moves on to the next hand.

Phil Laak

"Come on and give us some action," Phil Laak says before the hand starts. "Jordyn and I will defend liberally if you want." 

A player in the cutoff limps in for 1,200. Jordyn Miller is in the small blind and he calls. Phil Laak checks his option from the big blind. 

The flop comes     and Miller checks over to Laak. Laak puts out a bet of 3,000. The cutoff player folds, but Miller calls. 

On the   turn, Miller checks again. Laak bets 6,000 and Miller drops into the tank. 

"You're watching my fingers a lot," Laak says. "It's making me nervous." 

Laak laughs and jokes with Miller a bit more. 

"I've got Jordyn in the tank!" Laak jokes. "Uh oh, he's reaching for the blues."

Miller decides to raise, making it 13,000 total. Laak, now quiet, thinks for a bit, then moves all in. Miller calls instantly with his shorter stack.

"I have a straight flush," Miller says turning up   . Laak shows his    but immediately turns it face down upon seeing Miller's hand. 

The river is the meaningless   and that earns Miller a full double up through Laak. Miller's stack is counted out to be 44,500 exactly, doubling him up close to 100,000 while Laak was left right around starting stack.

Harry Arutyunyan raises to 2,500 from under the gun. A middle-position player calls and the button calls.

The flop is     and Arutyunyan continues for 3,000. The next player calls, then the button folds.

The turn is the   and Arutyunyan bets again, this time for 5,200. His opponent thinks for about 30 seconds, then sends his cards to the muck.

Arutyunyan, who won the first Circuit Main Event of the season, is now up to 120,000.

The four players see the flop come     and it's checked around to the button. He bets 3,000. Stephan calls, the big blind calls, and the other player folds.

All three players check the   on the turn and the river is the  . Stephan checks and the big blind bets 4,000. The button folds and Stephan quickly calls. He shows   , enough to win the pot.

The turn is the   and Sabat checks. The button asks Sabat to move his hands so he can see Sabat's remaining stack (he has a little more than 20,000). The button then bets 8,500. Sabat raises all in for 21,600 and his opponent calls.

With a dead button, Jared Griener raises to 1,700 from the cutoff and Daniel Strelitz three-bets to 7,000 out of the big blind. Griener moves all in and Strelitz calls, putting himself all in for about 35,000. Griener has a slightly bigger stack and the best hand.

Griener tables    and is in great shape against Strelitz's   .

The board runs out       and Griener fades a two-outer to send Strelitz to the rail.

After a raise to 2,100 from early position and a call, Melanie Weisner shoves all in from late position for 12,600 total. The original raiser moves all in for a bit more, and the last player calls, making a three way show down.

"Oh, I'll take this," Weisner says upon seeing the hands. 

The flop is no good for her though when it comes    . The turn is also no good when the   comes, but the   river is just what Weisner needs, allowing her to earn a full triple up. The original raiser was eliminated from the tournament as his tens were beat by the other players jacks, but Weiner collects the main pot worth three times what she put in.

With players back from Dinner and level 10 underway, registration is closed for the second starting flight of the $1,675 no-limit hold'em main event. There are 379 entries in the Day 1B field and 179 players remain. There were 294 entries in yesterday's Day 1A field to make it a 673-entry field thus far.

Players still have the option to buy-in at the start of Day 2. When cards get in the air tomorrow, the field size and prizepool will be finalized.

On the   river, McBride is first to act. She puts out 12,000. Pham snap calls. McBride shows    for two pair and Pham nods, then mucks his hand. McBride takes down the big pot while Pham drops down to right about 50,000 chips.

There is about 23,000 in the pot on the river with a completed board of       and Oddie Dardon is heads-up with the player in the cutoff. He bets 10,000 from under the gun, which is just shy of the cutoff's entire stack. 

Dardon makes a few comments to his opponent while he is in the tank and eventually, Massoud Eskandari calls the clock on the cutoff. With about five seconds remaining before his hand is killed, the cutoff calls.

"We are probably chopping," jokes Dardon, tabling   .

The cutoff shows    and wins the pot.

"If you don't talk, I probably fold," said the cutoff after the hand.

"Oh yeah, you're right," said Dardon. "I blew it."

The very next hand, Eskandari raises from middle position and the player in the hijack calls. Dardon moves all in for about 17,000 and Eskandari moves all in for about 40,000. The hijack folds.

"Same hand?" jokes Dardon, showing   .

"I just felt like gambling," said Eskandari, showing   . "It's a race."

The flop is    , which gives Dardon a set, but Eskandari flops an open-ended straight draw. The turn is the   and Eskandari makes his straight. The river is the   and Dardon doesn't find a board pairing river and is eliminated just before the end of the level.
