Bradley Sullivan - Event #12 Winner
Bradley Sullivan has struck gold this time around. Following up his 2nd-place finish in Event #3, the 26-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska returned to the spotlight and would not be denied again. Sullivan takes down the final event of the Horseshoe Council Bluffs Circuit series for $11,930 and his first World Series of Poker gold ring.
The two final table appearances Sullivan experienced were quite dissimilar. During his first deep run of the series, Sullivan entered the final ten players at the bottom of the pack. He then grinded out the short stack position and ended up with a runner-up finish. During Event #12, Sullivan was at the other end of the spectrum when the unofficial final table was reached.
Sullivan sat with the chip lead among a group of familiar faces, including runner-up of Event #9, Ryan Phan, and winner of Event #6, Tim McReynolds. The two local players, as well as Paul Cogliano all had a shot at the Casino Championship, but had to finish in first place to make it happen. Cogliano dropped out in 6th place, McReynolds took 4th place, and Phan made it all the way to the top three, but no further.
Phan's bust out left only Sullivan and Hamid Izadi, owner of one gold ring. Izadi began heads-up play with the chip lead, but it was far from being over quickly. What followed was a two-hour match full of swings back and forth. Double ups were a common occurrence and it seemed like a champion would never be deemed.
However, in the end, Sullivan dug out a big double and scooped the final pot shortly after. Izadi was awarded $7,372 for his solid, second-place showing and Sullivan reaped the Event #12 honors.

Henry Gingerich, the current Casino Champ leader, went bust in 11th place. Earlier today, Gingerich placed 25th in the Main Event. His Main Event finish earned him 5 more points and his recent cash added another 10 points to his total. Gingerich now has a total of 100 points.
With Gingerich's exit, the final ten players of Event #12 have merged to one table, an unofficial final table. There are plenty of familiar faces among the remaining group, including Bradley Sullivan, runner-up of the multi-flight re-entry. Sullivan is nearing 300,000 and is the current chip leader.

The final ring event of the series reached the end of registration
and a prizepool has been posted. Event #12: $365 No-Limit Hold'em
30-Minute Levels Re-Entry attracted 142 entrants. The sum generated a
prizepool of $42,600 and will provide the top-15 players with a WSOP
cash.

Sunday brings forth the last ring event of the Horseshoe Council Bluffs Circuit series. Event #12: $365 No-Limit Hold'em 30-Minute Levels Re-Entry begins at 12:00 p.m. and will finish in one day. All levels will be 30 minutes in length. Players will be allowed to re-enter as many times as they would like during the registration period, which remains open for the first eight levels of play.
This will be the last chance for players to earn points toward the Casino Champion race. Henry Gingerich currently leads with 85 points.
Here is a quick rundown of Event #12:
- Players start with 10,000 tournament chips
- Blinds start at 25/50
- Registration remains open until the start of Level 9 (~4:30 p.m.)
- Unlimited re-entry is allowed during the registration period
- All levels are 30-minutes long
- There will be a 15-minute break after Levels 4, 8, 16, 20, 24 and 28
- A 60-minute dinner break is scheduled for after Level 12
- This is a one-day tournament
- All players earning a cash will receive Casino Championship points
