The turn is the   and both players check to the   on the river. The big blind leads out for 700 and Hoffman thinks for a moment before raising to 2,000. The big blind thinks for a brief moment and opts to fold.

The cutoff tables   , but Hoffman reveals    for a turned set and rakes in the pot, sending his opponent to the rail.

On a flop of    , Rep Porter checks from the small blind and Harun Begic checks from the big blind. The player in the hijack bets 1,100 and Porter check-raises to 2,700. Begic makes it 10,000 and the hijack goes into the tank for a couple minutes before calling.

The hijack is all in for 8,700 and Porter immediately moves all in for about 12,000. Begic calls and all three hands are tabled. Begic shows    and is up against Porter's    and the hijack's   .

Neil Scott raises to 500 from the hijack and Matt Jordan three-bets to 2,100 on the button. Action is back on Scott and he four-bets to 12,500, leaving himself 1,500 in small chips behind. Jordan goes into the tank, and Scott begins to talk. "Standard button raise? It was a good move, but I was paying attention this time!" Scott exclaims. Eventually Jordan puts the rest of his stack in the middle and Scott calls.

The board runs out       and Scott is eliminated. "Chop!" jokes Scott as he heads to the rail.

Thomas Zanot raises to 450 from under the gun and Darrell Dier calls from early position. Action folds to Nick Pupillo in the cutoff, who three-bets to 1,250. Zanot four-bets to 3,800 and Dier gets out of the way. Pupillo moves all in and Zanot quickly asks the dealer to pull in the 3,800, so he can see the additional amount.

It is 15,250 more for Zanot to call. After a little thought, Zanot calls and the cards are tabled. Pupillo shows    and is in great shape against Zanot's   .

The flop is    , keeping Pupillo well in front, but the   on the turn gives Zanot a lot of equity with flush and straight draws. The river is the   and Pupillo fades the draws to double up.

The flop comes     and both blinds check to the initial raiser who bets 1,500. The cutoff, small blind and Nagar all decide to call.

The turn is the   and all four players check to the   on the river. All four players check yet again. The initial raiser tables    but it's no good against Nagar's    for a pair of nines.

"Yes!" cheers Nagar as the dealer ships him the pot. "It's good to be sticky sometimes!" he exclaims.

There is about 6,000 in the pot on the river with a completed board of      . Alex Greenblatt checks from the small blind and the player in the middle position bets 2,200. Brett Murray thinks for about a minute before folding and Greenblatt check-raises to 10,500,.

Middle position takes a couple minutes to think it over himself before calling. Greenblatt shows   , giving him a set of jacks. Middle position flashes    and Greenblatt wins the pot and nearly doubles his starting stack just before the first break of the day.

On a board reading    , with 3,200 in the middle, Tony Bracy checks from the hijack. Sean Yu is on the button and bets 1,500. Bracy calls.

The turn is the   and Bracy takes the lead, announcing a bet of 3,000. Yu thinks for a moment and opts to call.

The river is the  . Bracy pauses for a moment, stacks up his chips and then checks to Yu. After about 30 seconds, Yu puts two big chips in the middle and moves all-in. Bracy snap-folds.

Ron Brown currently leads the Casino Champion race with 110 points

With the series nearing the end, the Casino Champion race is heating up and Ron Brown currently sits at the top after an impressive week on the felt.

The retired player from Idaho has shipped two events this week, including Event #4 for $12,958 and Event #8 for $17,919. He also booked a 12th place cash last night in Event #10 to bring his point total to 110.

Brown was originally going to go home early, but decided to stay and chase the points race. He has just taken his seat in the Main Event.

The river is the   and Gil leads out for 1,000 this time. Scott quickly min-raises to 2,000 and Gil snap-folds.

Scott took down the Monster Stack earlier this week for $24,812 for his first ever tournament win and first career Circuit cash.

Varnell four-bets to 2,500 and both the hijack and cutoff fold. Rodriguez puts in a five-bet to 5,800 and Varnell counts out his stack before moving all-in for about 18,000. Rodriguez snap-calls and has him slightly covered.

Vornicu tosses out a 1,000 denomination chip, while announcing a smaller amount as the actual bet. The limper announces a raise and tosses out the same 1,000 denomination chip. Vornicu three-bets to 2,000 and his opponent calls.

The turn is the   and the limper leads out for 1,225. Vornicu raises to 3,200 and his opponent calls. The river is the   and the limper checks. Vornicu moves all in for 10,050 and his opponent thinks for a few moments before folding.

The 10-time ring winner mucks his hand and drags the pot.

With 200 in the middle, on a board reading    , the player in the small blind checks. Pedro Rodriguez is in the big blind and bets 150. The player under the gun puts in 250 chips, the player in the cutoff calls for 150 and the small blind folds.

Rodriquez asks, "Isn't that a min-raise?" The dealer calls the floor and they rule that the under-the-gun player did raise the minimum since it's more than half of the original bet. The cutoff has the option to either take 150 chips back or call the 300. He opts to fold. Rodriguez is next to act and raises to a total of 900. The under-the-gun player folds and Rodriguez rakes in some extra trips.

There are many familiar faces in the field this morning, but among them is defending champion Nick Pupillo. The two-time Circuit champion flew in just for this event in September and took it down for over $170,000.

Other early risers include three-time WSOP bracelet winner Rep Porter, ten-time Circuit ring winner Valentin Vornicu, as well as Neil Scott, Craig Varnell, Jed Hoffman and Bill Watchman.
