Larry Odegard was short before the money bubble but spun his stack up and turned it into a win in Event #10. Odegard was heads-up with Dan Chio and the two players battled before getting into a big hand together that turned the tides.

Chio flopped a set of fours but Odegard turned his gut-shot straight and the two players got all of their chips in the middle. The river was a blank and Odegard doubled up, leaving Chio with less than three big blinds. A few hands later, Odegard closed it out and banked $20,116 for his win. Chio earned $12,438 for his runner-up finish.

When asked how he felt about winning his first Circuit ring, Odegard said, "Great, wonderful." He isn't sure if he's going to play the Main Event, but he is excited to play more tournaments at Thunder Valley in the future.
