Niel Mittelman raises to 22,000 in the hijack, and Steve Lauson shoves all in from the cutoff.  It folds back to Mittelman who asks for a count, and upon hearing the 109,000 total, he calls.

"I am going to have to root for a ten here," table mate Kenny Nguyen says, just before the flop comes    .

"Or an eight," Nguyen says.

The turn is the  , giving Mittelman the lead with a pair of tens, and the   river does not change the hand, meaning Lauson is eliminated in 7th place, taking home $9,818.

After just doubling up Eric Rivkin in a monster hand, Dennis Elliot was left short and came into the unofficial final table of nine with only four big blinds.  He was eliminated just a few hands into final table play.

Damian Radanov - 10th Place - $4,972

Damian Radanov shoves all in for 51,000 from under the gun. Eric Rivkin calls on the button, as does Dennis Elliott in the small blind. The big blind folds. 

The flop comes    . Elliott leads for 150,000, and Rivkin raises to 300,000. Elliott announces that he is all in, and Rivkin quickly calls.

Rivkin:    (pair of aces, and backdoor flush draw)
Elliott:    (pair of jacks)

"I concede the main pot, just for the record," Rivkin says seriously.

The   turn does not change the hand, nor does the  . Radanov is eliminated in 10th place, taking home $4,972, and after a VERY close count of chips, it's determined that Elliott has Rivkin just slightly covered. 

"Wow, from nothing to chip leader," table mate Kenny Nguyen says to Rivkin, as the players start to redraw for their seats at the unofficial final table of nine.

Action folds to Niel Mittelman on the button who raises to 13,000. Johanssy Joseph folds his small blind, and Eric Rivkin reraises to 82,000, leaving himself 1,500 behind.  Mittelman calls the 82,000.

The flop comes    , and Rivkin moves his remaining 1,500 forward. Mittelman calls, and the players table their hands.

The   turn leaves Rivkin in the lead, but also gives Mittelman a flush draw.

The   river does not change the hand, and Rivkin doubles up.

Kenny Nguyen raises to 15,000 on the button, and Niel Mittelman calls in the big blind.

"That's the worst call you have ever made," Nguyen says to Mittelman with a smile on his face. 

The flop comes    . Mittelman checks, Nguyen bets 25,000, and Mittelman calls.

The turn is the  , and both players check. They also both check the   river.

"Ace on the river?" Nguyen asks Mittelman. Mittelman turns over    for two pair, fives and twos. 

"That's no good," Nguyen says as he turns over    for a higher two pair to take the pot. 

"I was scared of that ace on the river," Nguyen says as the pot is pushed over to him.

The small blind folds, but Niel Mittelman calls in the big blind.

"Oh come on, ace one time," Nguyen says, and the flop comes    .

"Yessss," Nguyen cheers.

"Ok, I fold," Mittelman says jokingly. 

The   turn and   river are safe for Nguyen, and he doubles up.

"That was a risky shove with 13 players left," a player says to Nguyen. Nguyen just smiles and stacks his chips.

Eric Rivkin raises to 35,000 in late position, leavinvg himself less than 15,000 behind, and Eric Flesch calls in the big blind.

The flop comes    . Flesch moves a stack forward totaling around 50,000, putting Rivkin all in if he calls, and Rivkin quickly moves his remaining 15,000 forward. 

Flesch flopped top pair holding   , but Rivkin is ahead having flopped a set of tens holding   .

The   turn and   river are safe for Rivkin to double up.

As the WSOP.com live reporting team approached the table, Dennis Elliott had    sitting in from of him, the board read      , and the dealer was counting out Elliott's chips. The dealer then passed 78,500 from Hao 'John' Sun's stack over to Elliott, leaving Sun with only 18,000 behind. 

The very next hand, action folds to Sun on the button who moved his remaining 17,500 forward. Johanssy Joseph folds his small blind, and Craig Trost calls in the big blind.

The flop came    , pushing Trost further into the lead when he makes a pair of aces. He maintains that lead when the turn comes the  , and the river is the  .

Sun is eliminated from play, and after he leaves the table Trost says, "It's nice to wake up with something remotely decent there. I'm not saying I'm not calling with any two cards, but that was nice to have something in that spot."
