West Palm Beach, FLA. (November 19, 2016) -- Only 49 remain in the Circuit Main Event at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. Flight B drew 142 players, bringing the total entries for the event to 261. The total prizepool is $391,500 and 27 places will be paid. The minimum payout will be $3,163 and the winner of the event will be awarded $95,921 in addition to a gold ring and an entry into the 2017 Global Casino Championship.

TJ Shulman (pictured) ended Day 1B as the chip leader with 402,000, which makes him overall chip leader going into Day 2. Flight A chip leader Jake Dollinger is not far behind with 349,000. These are the only two players to bag over 300,000 on Day 1. Shulman had a roller coaster of a day and climbed into the chip lead toward the end of level 13 when he won a coin flip with pocket sevens to eliminate Gary Bodley. He had 180,000 after that hand and more than doubled that stack in the last two levels to secure his end-of-Day 1 chip lead. Shulman won his first ring earlier this week in Event #8: $580 Double Stack No Limit Hold'em, and has a shot at another in this Main Event. Dollinger is still looking for his first ring.
