Brandon Fish and his rail

Las Vegas (8 March, 2016) – Brandon Fish won the final event at the Bally’s Las Vegas World Series of Poker Circuit stop Monday night. He emerged victorious in the turbo event, winning $12,798 and his third career WSOP Circuit ring.

This is Fish’s third cash here at Bally’s, and his eighth so far this season. To win, Fish had to defeat Andrew Crookston heads up. Crookston is also having a successful Circuit season with four cashes and two final tables so far.

The victory came at a fun-loving final table that almost had the feel of a home game, rather than a casino tournament. The players were there to enjoy themselves as well as compete. Third-place finisher Neil Scott and Brandon Fish were even wearing matching, self-deprecating donkey shirts. And the spectators on the rail grew increasingly rowdy as they cheered for their friends while the event played down to its conclusion.

The event attracted 158 players, creating a prize pool of $47,400. Play began at 11:00 a.m on Monday morning. The turbo structure of the event meant blinds and antes increased every 20 minutes, and the tournament ended in just under 12 hours. Fish eliminated Crookston to secure his victory at about 10:15 p.m.

Full results from the event are available in the Results Tab, above.
