Russ Head raises to 300,000. David Kruger reraises, and Head quickly announces he is all in for roughly 3.5 million chips. Kruger calls immediately with the best hand one can hope for--  . Head turns over    and shakes his head at his misfortune to run into such a monster of a hand.

The     flop keeps Kruger out front and the two finalists each stand, staring at the action, awaiting the next card. The turn pairs the board with the  , then the river brings the   to secure the victory for Kruger, which entails a Circuit ring, a $198,657 payday, and a trip to the WSOP Global Casino Championship later this year.

Head collects $122,918 for his runner-up finish and will be heading to the Global Casino Championship as well thanks to his win in the Horseshoe Southern Indiana Main Event earlier this season.

Kruger came close to victory in this event before, taking ninth in 2013, but there were no close calls today, as he is the latest WSOP Main Event Circuit Champion!
