The board gives Lee a glimmer of hope as he heads to the river with potential straight outs, but it's not meant to be. He hits the rail 19th and the remaining 18 players are now redrawing to two tables.
Lee secured his berth in this earlier in May when he won his first gold ring. Unfortunately, a complementary gold bracelet will have to wait for poker pro and media personality.

In a three-handed pot, Micheal Oshana checks the board. Merson follows suit and action is on Christian Pham. Pham reaches into his stack for 12,000 and drops it in the pot. Oshana folds. Merson calls and they're heads up to the turn.

A river elicits a 9,500-chip bet out of Merson and Pham studies his opponent. Pham throws out a stack of gray and the dealer breaks it down and announces a raise to 40,000. Merson calls and tables for tips queens and rakes in the pot.

Dorrance looks at his hole cards and four-bets to 40,000. Action folds to Doss who sends his cards to the muck. Campbell goes all-in for 92,600 total.

The 2012 Main Event Champ Greg Merson raises to 5,200 from the hijack, Christian Pham calls on the button, and bracelet winner Jesse Martin moves all-in from the big blind for 45,400. At-large qualifier Sean Lippel is in the big blind and thinks for a while before folding.
Merson announces he is all-in for around 100,000 more. Pham agonizes for a minute before folding.
Merson turns over , which has Martin's in bad shape. Merson pairs up his ace on the board to take the pot and eliminate Martin on the last hand of the level.

Short stacks Jesse Capps and Christopher Bibb get the last of their stacks in preflop. Bibb holds the advantage with his comfortably ahead of the of Capps.
The flop caters to Capps as it comes and Capps heads to the turn with no shortage of outs looking for any queen or heart.
The turn falls the pairing Capps' queen and giving him control of the hand.
His celebration is brief though as the dealer reveals the on the river just as fast. The card gives Bibb a winning pair of kings and the dealer reaches into Capps' stack. It's discovered Bibb has him covered by less than 1,000 and with that Capps is eliminated.

The board comes and action checks to Campanello in last position. He bets and the blinds quickly fold. It's on the original raiser Nigh and he calls. They're heads-up to the turn.
The dealer lays the and Nigh checks again. Campanello continues to put the pressure on betting 17,700. Nigh cuts out a call and they head to the river.
Fifth street falls the and Nigh checks a third time. Campanello, undeterred, follows through with his story throwing out 32,000. Nigh throws in a single 5,000 chip representing a call and Campanello shows for a rivered straight. Nigh's cards hit the muck.

The turn falls the and Nitsche checks again. It's on Prasetyo and he cuts out betting chips. Nitsche quickly folds. Harwood shows tables her and sees the bad news when Prasetyo reveals his for a pair of kings.
The river brings a meaningless and Harwood is eliminated.
Harwood earned her spot among the elite field following a record-setting 2013 WSOP that included six cashes, three final tables and a gold bracelet victory. Her second bracelet won't come in Atlantic City, but she has a whole summer in front of her to earn a follow-up gold.
