Louis Cohen Doubles Right Before Table Breaks
Louis Cohen limps in middle position and the player on the button limps in as well. Steven Jenkins completes his small blind and the player in the big blind checks his option to send four players to the flop.
Jenkins and the big blind check the flop, with Cohen throwing out a bet of 800. The button and big blind bookend Jenkins' call with quick folds.
The falls on the turn and Jenkins checks for a second time, with Cohen betting 1,500. Jenkins instantly moves all-in and Cohen quickly calls all infor less, as he's well covered with only 7,000 chips remaining in his stack.
Jenkins confidently turns over but his flopped two pair is drawing thin, as Cohen holds for a turned straight.
The completes the board and locks up the double for the short stack, with the tournament floor coming over to break the table immediately after completion of the hand.
"Wish you came one hand earlier." Jenkins jokes, as he's left with just over 10,000. Bad timing for Jenkins, perfect timing for Cohen, who is now heading to a new table with just under 20,000 in his rack.
Louis Cohen - 19,000
Steven Jenkins - 11,000
