Six Return To Play For First Ever WSOP Online Bracelet
Thursday was a historic day for the World Series of Poker, as the first ever online bracelet event ran on WSOP.com.
While the 905 players that entered that event were part of the biggest regulated online poker tournament in this countries history, today will also be historic, as the final six players in Event #64 will converge at the Rio at 12 PM to play down to a champion in the 'Thunder Dome', where the first ever online WSOP bracelet will be awarded.
When play completed with six players remaining on Thursday, the identities of the players were unknown but now that they are here, in the flesh, their identities are known and they'll be referred to as their real names as opposed to their online handles.
Craig Varnell leads the returning players, playing just over 2,500,000, followed by Anthony Spinella who is the only other player over the 2,000,000 mark.
Ryan Franklin is just under that mark with Andrew Rose and Hunter Cichy hovering near the 1,000,000 chip mark.
Rounding out the final six is David Tuthill, who will likely need to find a quick double, as he returns as the shortest stack and the only player not working a seven figure chip stack.
With these six players vying for one of the last bracelets of 2015 and the first ever online bracelet, this is sure to be an action packed and exciting final table, so be sure to check back to WSOP.com before cards get in the air at 12 PM to follow all the Event #64 action.
