Wayne Knyal - Chip Leader Coming Into Day 3

Day 3 of the Super Seniors Championship will commence this morning at 11 a.m. local time.

Two days ago, 1,533 players ages 65 and up took their seats in hopes of being crowned the first ever WSOP Super Senior. As day 3 begins, only 25 players remain. Wayne Knyal is the chip leader and is starting today with 779,000 in chips. He's followed by Jon Andlovec (652,000) and Charles Havens (644,000).

All remaining players are guaranteed a payout of at least $7,671, but the eventual winner will earn the first-place prize of $262,220, as well as the coveted WSOP gold bracelet and the prestige that comes along with being crowned the first ever WSOP Super Senior.
