Welcome to Day 4 of Event #26: $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em.

There are 29 players returning today and Hoyt Corkins starts as chip leader with 9,300,000 chasing his third WSOP bracelet.  Kevin Kung is his nearest challenger with 8,580,000.

This hugely popular event, now in its second year and sure to be a regular fixture in the future, attracted a huge field of 7,192 generating a total prize pool of $9,709,200. The eventual winner will take home a first place prize of $1,286,942 and the WSOP gold bracelet.

Day 4 is scheduled to play down to a winner and play resumes at level 32 with the blinds at 60,000 / 12,000 and a 15,000 ante. The average stack stands at 3,720,000.

Cards are in the air at 11 a.m. with the action taking place in the Gold section of the Amazon room. There is sure to be a lively Brazilian rail with two of their countrymen still in and there is plenty of room for spectators. If you can’t make it down to The Rio then WSOP.com will bring you all the drama as the event marches on to a winner and the crowning of a new champion.
