Mike Dentale Sends David Farber Packing
There is over 5,000 in the middle on a board reading when David Farber checks to Mike Dentale. Dentale fires out a bet of 2,200 and Farber check-raises to 11,000. Dentale goes deep into the tank before some friendly banter starts between the two.
"Damn man. I have a big hand. This really doesn't make sense to me bro," says Dentale. "Will you show me if I fold?"
Farber fires back with a few negotiations of his own offering to show if Dentale shows his hand, and later in the tournament shows him another hand when he asks to see it. After a few minutes Dentale says he needs a second to decide what he is going to do.
Another minute or so goes by before Dentale puts his headphones on the table, stands out of his chair, and slams his chips into the middle. "Alright, I'm all in!"
Farber asks for a count and as the dealer breaks down Dentale's shove of 18,000, Farber announces a call.
Dentale is ahead with a pair of eights and Farber will need to catch a king to send Dentale packing. The board runs out and Dentale leaps out of his chair.
"Do I have the right f***ing read or what!?" Dentale's buddy comes over from another table to give him a fist pump as the rest of the table seems starts to discuss the hand.
After the hand Dentale is up to 62,000 and Farber is left with just 4,200.
On the very next hand Farber gets the last of his chips into the middle holding against Dentale's . The board runs out and Dentale eliminates David Farber.
Mike Dentale - 68,500
David Farber - Eliminated
