Failed Bluff Doesn't Dent Pentefountas
Ioannis Pentefountas ends the night happy, after rebuilding his drastically depleted stack.
Pentefountas, who finished in the money in the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Eight Handed event, has bagged over 47,000 after dropping to 7,000 earlier in the evening.
Pentefountas was crushed after going all in with in what he describes a "failed bluff attempt."
The board was , when Pentefountas went all in on the turn with 21,900. His opponent called, shoving with 18,800 and tabling . As his opponent flipped over his cards, Pentefountas said to him: "You made the right call - I've got nothing."
Back in the game with 47,500, Pentefountas ends the day triumphant and looks set to return with an air of optimism in the morning.
