Michail Karapanos Eliminated in 12th Place ($12,835)
Marko Neumann opens for 32,000 and Michail Karapanos makes it 100,000 to go from the button. The flop comes and Neumann leads out for 140,000. Karapanos thinks for a moment and then announces a pot-sized raise which sets him all in for his last 628,000.
Neumann takes his sunglasses off for the first time all day, scratches his head, and looks intently at the board for several minutes. He shakes his head slightly, looking at the massive pile of chips in the middle. Finally after several minutes he says "call." The dealer asks him to say it again and he repeats "call."
Neumann has a spade flush draw but Karapanos's flush draw is better. Karapanos also has a set of sixes and looks to be in great shape to win the largest pot of the tournament thus far.
The turn is the giving Neumann top two pair. The river is the which gives Neumann a ten high straight. Karapanos can not believe what has happened. He sits there and looks silently at the board, his hands above his head. He sighs, not moving, as the players go on break.
