Event #18: $1,000 Turbo No-Limit Hold'em Day 2

Gregory Kolo has a big chip lead going into the final day of this turbo event returning with 862,000 which is some way clear of his nearest challengers at the moment, John Gale in second on 576,000 and Nitesh Rawtani in third with 487,000.

Other names to look out for today include Timothy Finne (294,000), Huy Nguyen (166,000), and Joe Keuther (175,000).

A total of 29 players survived from yesterday and they are set to play down to a winner today. Each has already locked up a $7,124 cash but all eyes will be on the first prize of $298,290 and the ultimate dream of any poker player, a World Series of Poker gold bracelet.

While many players have been asking for deeper stacks and slower structures the turbo events have proved increasingly popular this year, and yesterday's 1,791 entrants surpassed last years field by 322.

Play resumes at 1 p.m. in the Amazon Gold section of the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino with blinds resuming at Level 23, playing 8,000/16,000 with a 2,000 ante.

The action is sure to be as exciting as yesterday with the lead likely to change numerous times throughout the day. WSOP.com will be there right the way through to the end to bring you all the action including hand for hand coverage from the final nine to the crowning of the latest 2015 46th annual WSOP champion.
