Davis Aalvik Dominating the Table

In two consecutive hands Davis Aalvik has sent a pair of players to the rail.

First, Aalvik is faced with a big reraise all in from an opponent holding 70,000 or so. That player had just lost a big hand to Kevin Saul, and his aggressive play at the pot came shortly after he was forced to fold away a decent chunk of his stack.

Aalvik snaps off the big all-in wager and shows down    to crush his opponent's   . They say it's never easy though, and for Aalvik it certainly is not, as the flop comes down     to give the all-in player a lifeline in the form of a gutshot draw to Broadway. The   on the turn transforms the draw into a double-gutter, but Aalvik fades the outs on the   river.

Immediately after that win Aalvik plays to the turn on a board reading     . One player shoves all in for 60,500 and Aalvik huffs up his chest with a deep breath before committing the calling chips. Aalvik reveals    for top pair and his opponent holds a second-best   . The river bricks off, coming  , and with that Aalvik surges toward the top of the leaderboard.
