Nine-handed Play Slows Down
With nine players at the table and Cyndy Violette short stacked, the players have slowed down the pace quite a bit this level. Most hands are being taken down on third street with only the occasional trip to fourth street or beyond. One exception to that rule just played out.
Matthew Smith - (Xx)(Xx) /
Randy Kaas - (Xx)(Xx)
/ - folded on sixth street
Randy Kaas completes and Matthew Smith calls. Fourth street gives Kaas a pair and Smith bets. Kaas calls and checks dark. Smith bets his pair of fives on fifth street and Kaas calls again. Kaas collects a second pair and can't continue to a bet from Smith on sixth street.
Matthew Smith - 480,000
Randy Kaas - 395,000
