Charlie Adkins Wins Event #2 for $237,622; Adeeb Alnazer Eliminated in 2nd Place ($146,789)

After the elimination of Adeeb Alnazer in second place, Charlie 'Tuna' Adkins has just won Event #2 for $237,622.

With nearly equal chip stacks, Adkins and Alnazer got it all in with each holding the following:

"Come on, baby needs a new pair of shoes," Adkins said as the flop came    , giving him the ace high club flush draw.

The   turn gave Alnazer a pair of sevens, but also gave Adkins the flush.

The   river was inconsequential, and after a very close count of chips Alnazer was eliminated in 2nd place taking home $146,789, while Adkins won his first World Series of Poker Circuit ring and $237,622.

A full winner's story and recap will be posted tomorrow.
