Ben Lindemulder Leads the Final 78 Players into Day 3

Ben Lindemulder is getting used to being the big stack. After bagged the biggest stack on Day 1C,he had a similar experience on Day 2 and finishes atop the chip counts with 5,325,000. Lindemulder steadily grew his stack throughout the day and ended with a sizable chip lead--almost 2 million more than the next biggest stack.

The massive field of 21,613 was down to just 846 when Day 2 kicked off at 2 p.m. Everybody remaining was in the money and guaranteed a payday of at least $2,200. They played eight, one-hour levels and 78 players survived the day to advance to Day 3.

Joining Lindemulder at the top of the leaderboard heading into Day 3 are Richard Carr (3,550,000), five-time Circuit ring winner Vincent Moscati (3,300,000), and Farhad Davoudzadeh (2,845,000). 

Other notables still in contention on Day 3 include two-time Circuit ring winner Jeff Fielder (2,105,000), along with bracelet winners Amir Lehavot (1,545,000), David "ODB" Baker (890,000), Marco Johnson (815,000), and Ylon Schwartz (860,000).

Not everyone was fortunate enough to survive the day. Those who busted today include Nam Le, Allen Cunningham, Kane Kallas, bracelet winner Alex Bolotin, Joseph Cheong, Matt Stout, Taylor Paur, Robert Cheung, Joe Elpayaa, Kelly Minkin, Asher Conniff, Michael Mizrachi, Scotty Nguyen, Max Silver, Bryan Piccioli

All remaining players are guaranteed at least $10,289 for their efforts, with the first place finisher earning $1 million. Play resumes tomorrow at 2 p.m., and they will play down to the final table.
