Defending Champion Chris Csik Running Hot Early

After starting the day with 39,200, Chris Csik, the defending champion of the Baltimore Main Event, is sitting with nearly 250,000 following an early double up and a couple of knockouts.

According to Cisk, he doubled up early with pocket jacks against ace-queen. Later, Csik opened from under-the-gun with    and one player called. On a     board, Csik led out and was called. Csik hit a straight on the   turn and his opponent moved all in with   . Cisk snap-called and his straight held up to send one player to the rail.

A few hands later, Csik gets it all in preflop against Trevor Deeter. Csik holds pocket jacks again versus Deeter's ace-queen. Csik hits a set of jacks on the flop and that holds up for him to scoop Deeter's stack of about 85,000.
