Tristan Wade Wins Palm Beach Kennel Club Main Event ($106,806)

After three days of No Limit Hold'em, Tristan Wade emerged on top of a 303 player field to take home his first WSOP Circuit ring and adds $106,806 to his career tournament earnings by defeating David Diaz heads-up on Monday afternoon at the Palm Beach Kennel Club.

The final day saw three players come back to fight for a Circuit Main Event title and after Tom Midena was eliminated in third place, it was a battle between two bracelet winners for a Circuit ring. The two established pros combined for over $2.7 million in tournament earnings and was one of the more star-studded heads-up matches the Circuit has seen in recent years.

Diaz and only played for 20 minutes before Wade's two pair was bigger than Diaz's two pair to take a better than 5:1 chip lead. Just a few hands later, Diaz was all in with pocket jacks against Wade's   , but a king on the turn sealed the hand for Wade and gave him his first ring along with a six-figure score.
