WSOPC Event #13: $1,700 MAIN EVENT

Today is the day the everyone has been waiting for! This morning at 11:00AM, the WSOP circuit stop here at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and resort will get the most anticipated event on the schedule, Event #13: $1,700 Main Event, underway!

This is by far the most coveted title of the entire series and with a $1,500,000 guaranteed prize pool, it's easy to see why there's so much excitement built up around this tournament at every stop.

When the schedule's flagship event gets underway, players will sit behind a starting stack worth 40,000. They'll also stary with 40-minute blind levels that will remain throughout all Day 1s until Day 2, at which point all remaining levels will be 60 minutes in length.

This is a re-entry event and registration will remain open until the start of Level 13. With breaks and play included, that gives us a max late reg cutoff of approximately 8:45PM EST, so if you can't get here early, there's plenty of time to late reg with a healthy stack.

The last time this event ran back in August, Donovan Dean was crowned champion, taking down his third WSOP Circuit ring and second Cherokee Main Event title for $326,206. Donovan is in the building this time around and will certainly be looking to make a run and shipping back-to-back Main Events here in Cherokee, North Carolina.
