Day 1 of Double Stack Takes Center Stage Wednesday at WSOP-C Tulsa
After three WSOP Circuit rings were awarded on a busy Tuesday in Tulsa, the jewelry will remain in the case on Wednesday.
Just one event is on the sked with the next multi-flight tournament of the WSOP Circuit series here set to get underway at 11 a.m. with Event #8: $400 Double Stack.
The fall edition of this event was won last year by Bret Karr to the tune of $30,344. That edition saw 467 entries create a healthy $154,110 prizepool.
Here are the key details of this series two-day event:
- $400 buy-in / 40,000 starting chips (200 BB)
- Registration and unlimited re-entry is available until the start of Level 13 (approximately 6:30 p.m. CT)
- Day 1s will play until the completion of Level 24, or approximately 5% of the field, or the final 11 players, whichever comes first
- The final 15% of the field will be in the money
- Survivors of Days 1A and 1B will return Friday at 1 p.m. and play to a winner
- Day 1 levels will be 30 minutes / Day 2 will be 45 minutes
- Players will receive a 15-minute break after every two hours of play
- Day 2 resumes at 1 p.m. CT on Friday, March 15
