Final Table in Sunday's Race to a Ring
After just under 7 1/2 hours, a field of 177 entries is down to the final table of nine.
Fisher Friend brings a chip lead of 900,000 to the final table with David Soskin not far behind with 800,000. The only other player over 500,000 is Brandon Skala with an even half million.
Just one previous WSOP Circuit ring winner has made it to this final table. Trent Wilson won a $400 event here in Tulsa back in August of last year to earn his first Circuit ring. Everyone else will be trying to match that accomplishment.
Here's a look at how the final table breaks down:
Seat 1: Brandon Skala - 500,000
Seat 2: Adam Beauchamp - 395,000
Seat 3: Cody Jorgenson - 160,000
Seat 4: Dale McClure - 120,000
Seat 5: Fisher Friend - 900,000
Seat 6: Melinda Hettick - 200,000
Seat 7: Trent Wilson - 295,000
Seat 8: David Soskin - 800,000
Seat 9: Michael Adams Jr. - 205,000
Each of the final nine players has earned a payday of at least $1,221, but they're all just a few more eliminations away from the $14,507 first prize, along with that prestigious WSOP Circuit ring, and a seat in the $1,000,000 WSOP Tournament of Champions.
