Egbert's Amazing Week Continues with Day 2 Main Event Chip Lead

Travis Egbert Takes the Chip Lead into Day 2 of the Main Event
After picking up another 300,000 or so chips in a huge hand that burst the bubble, Travis Egbert has added Day 2 Main Event chip leader to his insane resume this week at Thunder Valley.
Egbert flopped trips against a player who flopped two pair and turned a flush draw, then jammed a quarter-million chips into Egbert's hand. Egbert held on the river and he now has 1,388,000 chips to unbag Sunday at 11 a.m.
He'll be the only player among the 113 returnees to unbag at least a million chips. Day 1A chip leader Brandon Herrick is second with 997,000.
Full counts and Day 2 seat draw are available under the ‘Reports’ tab above.
Egbert and everyone else Sunday will be in the money with their eyes on an incredible $207,020 first prize, along with a prestigious WSOP Circuit ring and entry into the WSOP Tournament of Champions.
Complete payout details are available under the 'Prize Pool' tab above,
Whether Egbert just goes on to win his third ring in a week or not, there will be a new champion as last fall’s Thunder Valley Circuit champ Michael Persky busted, as did January champion Bilguun Odgerel.
Play ended with 7:01 left in Level 16 with blinds of 4,000 / 8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante. Day 2 Sunday is scheduled to continue until the start of Level 27.
