Day 1B of the Main Event Starts at 11 a.m.
The second of three opening flights of the Main Event starts at 11 a.m. CT Friday and Day 1C on Saturday, followed by Day 2 on Sunday and Day 3 Monday, both at noon.
Day 1s are scheduled to play 17 40-minute levels or stop once 10% of the field remains whichever comes first. Any survivors at that point will advance to Day 2.
Day 1A drew 176 entries and ended with 19 players. Pawel Kotara is the player to aim for with 1,000,000 chips
Here’s a look at other key elements of the event:
$1,700 buy-in / 40,000 chips
40-minute levels on Day 1, 60-minute levels on Days 2 and 3
Registration during opening flights is open until the start of Level 13 (approximately 8:45 p.m.)
Players are allowed 2 re-entries per opening flight
Final 15% of Day 1's will be in the money
Players receive a 15-minute break after levels 3,6,12,15,19,21,25 and 27
Players receive a 60-minute dinner break after Level 9 on Day 1A and 1B (approximately 5:30 p.m.)
