Joseph Bergh Wins Final Ring of WSOP Circuit at Harvey's Lake Tahoe

Another successful WSOP Circuit series here at Harvey's Lake Tahoe is in the books, with the final ring of the series being awarded to Joseph Bergh.
He takes home $12,488, a WSOP Circuit ring and entry into the 2024 WSOP Tournament of Champions.
Bergh defeated a final table that included a former WSOP Circuit Main Event champion here in Lake Tahoe, Scott Sanders, veteran tournament pro Lee Markholt, and Denis Lee, who final tabled all three turbo events here in Lake Tahoe, winning one of them.
Heads-up, he defeated fellow Thunder Valley regular Jeff Day who had an impressive series himself, final tabling the Main Event Sunday before falling just short in this event.
After his win, Bergh summed up how he felt in just one word.
"Incredible."
What started as a turbo structured tournament turned into a marathon, as once three-handed, it took several of the 20-minute levels before Lee was eliminated as stacks shifted back and forth with the short stack doubling repeatedly, mostly through Bergh.
"I was thinking I don't know what I've got to do to break them. What have I got to do to bust them? I was pretty frustrated, I'm just glad everything held up and it worked out."
Ultimately Bergh and Day finished with neither player holding more than fifteen big blinds heads up when Bergh's fives flopped a set against Day's threes and the tournament was over.
