Angelo Kozonis Wins Pot Limit Omaha Circuit Ring
The final table for Event #5: $600 Pot Limit Omaha began shortly after the Day 2 restart. An action-packed final began and ended within three hours as Angelo Kozonis won his first WSOPC ring and $20,210.
"This is my home casino," Kozonis said, "I play No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha here. I'm looking forward to playing the Main Event."
Kozonis got off to a hot start at the final table but then hit a long period of being card dead. "I didn't hit anything for like two hours and then I got really lucky against Michael (Hahn) and flopped a wheel," he said. "That gave me a commanding chip lead heading into heads up play."
