Josh Laz Wins First Ring in Double Stack Event
A swingy final table full of action kept a few different players in contention to win the tournament. When the dust settled Josh Laz may have had the least experience at the final table, but navigated his way to his first gold ring and $29,600.
The Chicagoan said being at the final table "was nerve-wrecking but I had a feeling when I started this tournament I was going to win it and that's what I did," he said.
"The players were tough, it was a very aggressive final table," Laz said. "It started out pretty hot and I was just lucky enough to make it through."
Laz plans on playing as much as he can for the rest of the series but has to balance against work with his construction company.
